Alexis was walking around the town as she came across a cute cafe. She looked up at the sign it read Ocean Springs Cafe. She couldn't guessed it would be called that. She walked inside and to order a coffee. Once she ordered it she went over to the far corner and sat down at a little table by the window. She took a sip of her coffee as she heard her cell phone ring.
Her friend in Canada had just text her saying "hey, Hun, how are you? i miss you so much, please come back!" Alexis almost teared up, but she held it in. She text back saying; awww i miss you so much too! i wish i could come home, but i cant...im sorry....please come and rescue me!
she put her cell phone back in her pocket the drank more of her coffee as she gazed out the window.

Blake walked through the door humming along to his iPod. He looked at the menu and smilied. He loved the cafe. He usually brought his guitar and grought outside, and get loose change from people passing by. He loved doing that. His guitar today was in his car. He stepped up to the blonde cashier attendant and asked," Can i have a latte?" the girl smileid and asked for 3 dollars. Blake looked behind him and a girl was sitting alone. he though today he was going to be brave. " Can I also have some chocolate cake."6 dollars." The girl said. He paid and looked at the girl and smilied. He walke do ther and asked," Is this seat taken?"

Alexis turned to look up at a boy who just aske dher if the seat across from her was taken. she smiled a bit and shook her head "nope, not taken" She saw that he had a coffee as well, but something else was in his hand, it looked like cake, and it looked yummy too. She looked at him and said "im Alexis...just moved here from Canada" she said holding out her hand for him to shake. She wasnt sure what else to say, but then her cell phone rang.
She looked up at him "im sorry...but its my brother, so i should see what he text me...again im sorry" she said as she flipped open her phone a read a text from her brother, it said "hey babe! i miss ya! how are things at your new home? have any friends? well got to get back to college...dotn tell but im in the middle of class!" She smiled at his text then laughed a bit. She dicided that she would teply till later though.

"Cool." He said as he sat down. He ste the coffee out for him and set the cake in the middle of the table. " I though you looked sad so I bought you some cake." he said blushing a little bit. He took a sip of coffee and said," I am Blake Its nice to meet you Alexis." He shook her hand and took another sip of coffee." Its ok, Canada?" he asked." Thats a long way away." He smilied and took another sip. This coffee was so good. He closed his eyes and said," Hmmm..." He looked bacl at her and smilied.

"thanks! i would love some cake...and im not too sad, i just miss Canada a bit" She blushed when he had said he bought the cake for her because she looked sad. She smiled as she took a sip from her coffee "yeah i guess Canada is pretty far away from here. But we came on a plane...so not to bad" she smiled a bit more when he said hmmm. "So, Blake...you know this town good right? Cause i need help finding some places around here, like the mall or some good resteraunts" she smiled more hoping that he could help her.

"Your Welcome." He said as she thanked him for the cake. He smilied and said," I miss LA sometimes. I moved here from LA about a year ago. Its hard leaving, but you meet people and they make up for it." He said smiling a flirty smile. Of course he thinking of Jane." I love airplanes they are so cool." He said as he laughed. " Yes Ma'am. I know my way around." He said " the mall is near here and how about tongiht i take you to my favorite restraunt, my treat." He smiled. 'Why am I being so friendly.' He thought. Who knows good mood? Wanted to help? Who knows...

She smiled as he said he liked airplanes "yeah there cool..if your little sister doesn't get sick on them!" she laughed a bit. Yes Megan had gotten sick on the airplane and Alexis found it a little funny. "Ya, it is hard to leave...but you are right, you do meet more people" She smiled at him, blushing a bit then heard him say he would take her to a restaurant. "Sure, it sounds great" she said with another smile. Her first friend who would take her out and show her around. And he was really cute. She blushed more.

"Great, I'll pick you up at 6." he said watching her cheeks blush up. She was cute. " Why did you leave Canada?" He asked taking another sip of his drink and letting the warmth rush down his throat down into his stomach. He looked back at her and smiled. He moved here because he was sick of his parents fighting.

"ohhh...i moved here because my parents wanted to move and because they found better jobs here" she sighed as she took another drink of her coffee "Although, i guess it is okay here..not bad...i just miss my friends a lot" she said with a small smile on, thinking of her friends at the same time.

" Yeah, when I moved here, I missed my friends so badly I almost moved back but then I met someone who is now really special to me and, though i never will forget my friends, I won't ever move because of her." He siad staring into space. He hated when he got all spacy and dirfted off. He slamemd himself back to earth and sipped while he blushed hoping she didn't notice." You'll love it once you get used to it. Don't worry." He said smiling semi flirty.
